
Beijing Exhibition Center, the first large exhibition venue in Beijing, was built in 1954, and so far it is the unique venue with Russian architectural style in Beijing. It was inscribed by Chairman Mao Zedong, and the ribbon-cutting ceremony was presided over by Premier Zhou Enlai.
The major asset of BCT Exhibition Center Exhibition Branch is the venue of Beijing Exhibition Center. The total area of the venue is more than 30,000 square meters, including 22,000 square meters indoor exhibition area and 10,000 square meters outdoor exhibition area. The venue composed by 12 exhibition halls, is capable to undertake exhibitions, meetings, activities, etc. In recent years, BCT Exhibition Center Exhibition Branch has undertaken a large number of influential exhibitions and activities, and successive leaders of the party and state have come to Beijing Exhibition Center to visit the exhibition galleries, such as: “The Olympic Expo”, “60th Anniversary Exhibition”, “International Film and TV Expo”, “Huabiao Awards” and so on.
BCT Exhibition Center Exhibition Branch always abides by the service concept of “customer demand as orientation, create the brand exhibition together”, not only inheriting history and culture, but also integrating modern management concepts. In 2002, BCT Exhibition Center Exhibition Branch became the first exhibition venue gaining ISO9000 Quality Management System Standards Certification in Beijing; in 2010, Beijing Exhibition Center was elected as First Grade Qualification of Exhibition Hall Project Department by China Association for Exhibition Centers. In the same year, during the first evaluation of National Class 3A Qualification Venue by Department of Commerce, BCT Exhibition Center Exhibition Branch became one of the first National Class 3A Qualification Venues.
